Payout Yield

I have a small account of my own that I am going to track with a payout yield portfolio starting at the close today (background post here). The average net payout yield for the top five stocks is 10.78% vs. 5.67% average across all DOW stocks. Broken down into dividend yield it is 2.07% vs. 2.27% (all DOW), and net buyback yield is 8.71% vs. 3.4%(all DOW). The top 10 payout yield stocks are currently:

IBM (due largely to that massive $13B share buyback last Q)
HON
DIS
HD
PFE
MSFT
XOM
MMM
PG
JPM

If one wanted to take a payout yield flying five, the lowest priced of the 10 would be:

DIS
HD
PFE
MSFT
JPM

Sorted on just buyback yield:

IBM
DIS
HON
HD
MSFT
XOM
HPQ
PFE
MMM
PG

Sorted on dividend yield (but you might as well buy DSF, a dogs of the dow CEF trading at a 6% discount to NAV):

C
PFE
MO
VZ
GM
JPM
DD
MRK
T
GE
