About Meb Faber
I grew up in Colorado and North Carolina and did my undergrad at the University of Virginia (with an amazing Summer semester in Boulder thrown in). After college I worked in Washington D.C (biotech equity analyst) and San Francisco/Lake Tahoe (quant analyst / ski bum) before trading my skis for a surfboard and moving to Manhattan Beach, CA. I spend most of my free time learning to surf and traveling. And because I get this question daily, Mebane is Southern (US), and rhymes with “web-in”.
